LE&RN Individual Membership for Researchers

Why should lymphatic researchers be Supporting Members of LE&RN?

For the first time in history, LE&RN's team secured lymphatic diseases and lymphedema as eligible for the Dept. of Defense's $370M research program and managed to get a lymphatic project at the new ARPA-H agency that could yield up to $200M in lymphatic research in the next 3-5 years. LE&RN sponsors the biennial Lymphatic Forum conference for over 200 researchers and provides up to 23 scholarships and awards so young investigators can attend. LE&RN’s efforts led to the establishment of the National Lymphatic Commission at NIH, and it was awarded the first-ever CDC Chronic Disease Awareness Grant for cancer-related lymphedema. This campaign brings further awareness, featuring LE&RN Spokespersons Academy Award-winning actress Kathy Bates and actor Steve Guttenberg. Having created a Centers of Excellence program and standards to guarantee that people with lymphatic diseases get state-of-the-art care, there are now over 60 Centers in 16 countries around the world. Finally, LE&RN continues to grow its International Patient Registry to ensure researchers have the needed database. Starting at only $60 a year, you can join the organization that established World Lymphedema Day and is transforming lymphatic research and patient care. Please JOIN NOW.
